Foundingbird is a digital company secretarial firm in Malaysia that provides online company incorporation with the SSM, company secretarial services and hassle-free business administration via a dedicated dashboard for your company.
Yes, it is completely legal. Our company secretaries are licensed and compliant with the requirements set by the SSM. In fact, the SSM encourages online company incorporation through the official MyCoID portal. With Foundingbird, you do not have to do it yourself, nor will you have to visit the SSM counter for identity verification purposes.
Most company documents (except CTC documents) can be signed electronically. The documents such as the board resolution will be sent to you for electronic signature through email. Electronic signature is enforceable according to the Electronic Commerce Act 2006.

Unfortunately, no. Foundingbird will automatically appoint your company secretary when you incorporate your Sdn Bhd through us.

After your Sdn Bhd is incorporated and the company secretary has been appointed, we will prepare all documents required and a banker will schedule an appointment with you to open a business bank account.

It may take 3 – 5 working days to process the Certified True Copies (CTCs). Hence, it is advisable to request for the documents you need in advance.

Each month, you can request for Certified True Copies (CTCs) 2 times without additional charges. However, if we need to pay statutory fees to the SSM for any particular exercises, there will be additional charges.
Foundingbird’s monthly company secretarial fee is charged automatically to your credit or debit card each month.
Unfortunately, no. It is a requirement to have an appointed company secretary at all times to operate a Sdn Bhd. However, you may appoint other service provider as your company secretary, though we would be sad to see you leave.

All company documents such as forms and resolutions will be made available through the Foundingbird app. Some basic ones are:
- Notice of registration.
- Certificate of incorporation.
- Superform 14.
- The first board resolution.
- Notification of company secretary appointment (Form 58&236(2)).
You will get notified regarding the status of your company incorporation through push notifications from the Foundingbird app. Reminders on important statutory dates will be sent through push notifications as well.
No. All information is stored on the cloud and a copy of each company document is sent to all directors. As long as you have access to your Foundingbird account, you can still access all company documents if you re-install the app. Foundingbird also keeps all the documents in storage for up to 7 years.
